Ward’s 1932 street directory of Croydon

In the 1930s Ward’s directories finally broke the streak of nearly half a century’s annual publication, as no directory was published for 1931. The only directories for this decade were those for 1930, 1932, 1934, 1937, and finally 1939, which was the last one ever (aside from a modern set of directories by the Croydon Advertiser that resurrected the name — but not the format — in the 1980s).
